TAMPA, FL — Saucy! by KFC is expanding into the Tampa area with six new stores, according to a news release.
The specialized concept focuses on chicken tenders, dipping sauces and beverages.
The location at 5706 W. Waters Ave. opened Monday in the West Tampa neighborhood. A Westchase location is also set to open on Feb. 16.
Other locations in the area set to open in March or April include near the University of South Florida in Temple Terrace, Bradenton, Carrollwood and Trinity.
Known for its hand-crafted chicken tenders, an offering of more than 12 bold, globally-inspired sauces, and other options like Brussel Bites and Puffies, Saucy! is geared toward “guests who want to play with flavor,” the news release said.
Each restaurant features drive-thru services and self-serve kiosks.
