Florida State has been burning up the highways this past week as they look to land more commitments on the recruiting trail. Head coach Mike Norvell sent several coaches to see one prospect in particular on Wednesday.

It was 2027 blue-chip edge KJ Green out of Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia. The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder announced his appreciation for the visit as he posted a picture with defensive line coach Terrance Knighton, edge coach Nick Williams, and safeties coach Evan Cooper.

“@Coach_Norvell Sent the whole crew at me today THATS love 💯💯,” Green wrote.

This comes a week after Norvell visited Green himself at his high school. Clearly, FSU is all in when it comes to securing a pledge from Green as he’s looking at Aug. 8 as the date for his decision. The Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, Ohio State Buckeyes, Miami Hurricanes, Oregon Ducks, and more have offered Green a scholarship.

It was a monster junior campaign for Green this past season. He accumulated 129 tackles, 40 tackles for loss, 18 sacks, four forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.

Green is one of the top prospects in the entire 2027 cycle. He’s listed as the No. 63 player nationally and the nation’s No. 7 edge in the 247Sports composite. Green is also the No. 6 prospect in the state of Georgia.
