The Miami Real Estate development industry continues to make news for innovation and extravagant condo projects. Now, a new luxury residential project in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District will bear the name of iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, marking the first-ever Frida Kahlo–branded condominium development in the world.

Branded residential projects are becoming a key part of Miami’s luxury condo market, with internationally recognized names lending prestige, and commanding premium prices, to the condo inventory. Among the most prominent is Aston Martin Residences, a 66-story tower on Biscayne Bay that brings the British luxury automotive brand’s design ethos to 391 waterfront homes.

Another high-profile example is Cipriani Residences Miami, an 80-story landmark in Brickell tied to the famed Italian hospitality brand, featuring bespoke amenities, private dining and refined design inspired by Cipriani’s legacy.

The Frida Kahlo Wynwood Residences, developed by PMG Real Estate Associates and LNDMRK Development, has launched sales for 244 fully furnished units ranging from studios to three-bedroom homes.

Designed by renowned architect Carlos Ott in collaboration with CUBE 3 Studio and interiors by Cotofana Designs, the two-tower project will offer resort-style amenities including a pool with shaded lounges, fitness and wellness spaces, outdoor social areas, and a the first Florida location for Baker Health concierge medical care center.

The development draws inspiration from Kahlo’s creative legacy and aims to blend art, design and elevated urban living in one of Miami’s most chic neighborhoods.

Located at 119 NW 29th Street, the project is expected to be completed in 2029 and prices are reported to start from about $500,000 to $1.6 million.

The branding partnership with the Frida Kahlo Corporation secures rights to use Kahlo’s name and image, an unusual move that has sparked debate about commercial use of her legacy.
