The Old Farmer’s Almanac has issued its Thanksgiving 2025 weather forecast with the good residents of Florida told to look forward to a cooler than normal period but thankfully with rain clearing in time for the holiday.

The Old Farmer’s Almanac is a yearly publication that gives long-range weather forecasts, gardening tips, astronomical data, and a variety of seasonal advice. It’s the oldest continuously published periodical in North America, first released in 1792.

The Old Farmer’s Almanac has issued its Thanksgiving 2025 weather forecast, and Floridians can look forward to a sunny, dry holiday — ideal for outdoor meals, beach walks, and travel.

The forecast calls for a cooler-than-usual start to the day before warming to mild, pleasant temperatures. The Farmers’ Almanac also prredicts “quick changes: fair, then rain, then clearing in time for Thanksgiving” across the Southeast, including Florida.
Nationwide, Thanksgiving week is expected to bring mixed conditions: sunshine in much of the East, wet weather in the West, and limited snow in northern areas such as New England, the Upper Midwest, and parts of Alaska.

In Florida, where November averages 64.7F, Thanksgiving 2025 looks nearly perfect for outdoor celebrations.
Sunshine and dry skies are forecast across the state, with no rain expected on the big day.
Historically, Florida’s November temps have ranged from a high of 72.2F (2015 and 1986) to a low of 57.9F (1901). Nationally, the warmest weather will likely be in Texas, the Deep South, and the Desert Southwest, while cooler conditions are forecast for the Northeast and much of the Western US.

Although the Almanac’s Seasonal Tempearture Outlook predicts temperatures will be above normal across Florida and much of the US, the southern tip of the Sunshine State will be effected worse.
