And months after being ranked the top foodie city in the country, a new list is here to once again prove just that!
Miami is one of the best food destinations in the U.S., according to TripAdvisor’s 2026 Travelers’ Choice Awards.
Determined by millions of reviews from travelers over the past 12 months, the Magic City ranks at No. 5 on the “Best of the Best” list. It celebrates the most popular destinations for foodies who travel specifically to for unforgettable meals, with fewer than 1% of 8 million global listings receiving the distinction.
Miami’s ranking was, of course, determined by its blend of cultures and global influences, with the company noting that “Miami is hot hot hot!” and it’s not just the weather. TripAdvisor says:
“Here, the nightlife is scorching, thanks to a strong Latin influence and spicy salsa culture. Dance the noche away in a nightclub, or indulge in a fancy meal at one of the city’s celebrity-owned restaurants. By day, hit the beach of course, or have yourself a walkabout, taking in Miami’s colorful art deco architecture. Grab a Cuban sandwich in Little Havana, then ride the vintage carousel at Virginia Key Beach Park.”
Surprisingly, Miami isn’t the only Florida destination on the list! Orlando ranked No. 4, just ahead of Miami, for its adventurous theme parks, quiet natural beauty (like the Harry P. Leu Gardens) and James Beard-nominated eateries.
