MIAMI, Fla. (CBS12) — Police arrested professional boxer Gervonta Bryant “Tank” Davis in South Florida months after he allegedly attacked a woman outside a Miami gentlemen’s club.

According to the Miami Gardens Police Department, Davis was taken into custody on Wednesday in Miami’s Design District by MGPD’s Special Investigations Section and a U.S. Marshals fugitive task force.

Investigators say the victim alleged that Davis forcibly grabbed her at the club and dragged her toward a parking garage.

Prior arrests

This is far from his first accusation of domestic violence in South Florida.

In June 2025, he was arrested for causing physical bruising to his ex-girlfriend during a dispute.

His legal record also includes a 2020 incident where he turned himself in after footage surfaced of him grabbing the mother of his child at a charity event.

Additionally, he faced battery charges in 2023 for allegedly slapping a woman; however, the case was dropped after the complainant chose not to move forward.
