Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office JSO badge
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office downtown headquarters, also known as the Police Memorial Building, will be closed to the public Monday due to a “winter weather related incident,” officials said on Sunday.
JSO said those searching for a police report or local criminal background check may go to one of JSO’s six district substations from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday.
Those locations are:
District 1 Substation, 5258-13 Norwood Avenue
District 2 Substation, 9119 Merrill Road
District 3 Substation, 8875 Liberty Ridge Drive, Suite 110
District 4 Substation, 3726 Blanding Boulevard
District 5 Substation, 1767 Kings Road
District 6 Substation, 1680 Dunn Avenue
The Patrol Division and the Communications Center will continue to operate as usual. Citizens may call the non-emergency number at 904-630-0500 for police services and are reminded to call 911 in case of an emergency.
Additionally, the Forfeiture Warehouse located at 1087 Haines Street will also be closed on Monday.
