TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Dazzling lights, sparkly shoes and a pumped-up dance floor await as organizers gear up for the annual Night To Shine Prom in Tallahassee.
Organizers hosted their yearly prom boutique at Immanuel Baptist Church on Saturday and guests were able to pick out a dress or suit.
Countless volunteers were there to help everyone find the perfect look, along with shoes and accessories. They even had a tailoring station for minor adjustments. This was entirely free for everyone.
“I think it’s been fun to watch the excitement,” lead director Liz Crawford said.

Crawford said this means so much to see the excitement spread throughout the room as everyone looks ahead to the special night.
“I’ve heard a couple of little squeals or ‘I found my dress’ or ‘I got my dress, look at my necklace,” she said. “The prom boutique just really helps just build that excitement and makes them feel even more special.”
Crawford said they still need at least 100 volunteer buddies to sign up for the prom, scheduled to take place on February 13 at Immanuel Baptist Church. For more information, click here.
