STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — Stuart Police officers searched the area around Serenity Apartments early Monday after a caller reported possible yelling for help and suspected gunshots.

Officers responded to SE Central Parkway, between Kanner Highway and Federal Highway, after the call came in around 4 a.m. Police canvassed the area and conducted a thorough investigation but said they found no evidence of a crime.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Stuart Police Department at 772-287-1122 and request to speak with an officer.

Police continue encouraging residents to report anything unusual, reminding the community that officers are available around the clock and, as always, “If you see something, say something.”
