Former head coach of the Auburn Tigers and current offensive coordinator for Florida State, Gus Malzahn, has announced his retirement from coaching.”After 35 years, it’s time for me to step away from coaching,” Malzahn said in a statement. “I am excited to spend more time with my family and focus on the next chapter of my life. Malzahn, who joined FSU in 2024, was the head coach at Auburn from 2013 to 2020 before being fired and taking his skills to the University of Central Florida in Orlando from 2021 to 2024.
