Countless people online reported seeing a green meteor streak across the sky from about Sanford to Vero Beach on the evening of Feb. 2.
February is the start of fireball season, which lasts into April, according to the American Meteor Society.

A video of it over Florida was recorded by a Tesla cybertruck about 9:30 p.m. Feb. 2 at Interstate 75 and State Road 64 in Bradenton.
The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Melbourne had no additional information about it Feb. 3.
NASA has not responded to TCPalm’s request for additional information.
