Florida native Erin Jackson named Team USA flag bearer for Winter Olympics

Erin Jackson, a Central Florida native, will lead Team USA as flag bearer during the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics. Jackson will join bobsled Olympian Frank Del Duca as a flag bearer on Friday in Milan.Jackson, 33, from Ocala, became the first Black woman to win an Olympic speedskating gold medal in 2022 at the Beijing Olympics. In 2018, she became the first Black woman to qualify for the U.S. Olympic speed skating team.
