Fountains froze over at Disney World on Sunday, February 1, as the National Weather Service (NWS) issued extreme cold and freeze warnings for Orlando, Florida.
Footage filmed by Joanmarie Garcia shows icicles forming in the fountain in front of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in Epcot’s France Pavilion.
“It’s SO cold today, the fountains are frozen,” Garcia wrote in a TikTok post.
The NWS said temperatures reached a low of 24 degrees Fahrenheit (-4 Celsius) in Orlando on Sunday, breaking the city’s daily low temperature record of 28 degrees Fahrenheit (-2 Celsius) set back in 1936. Credit: Joanmarie Garcia via Storyful
