A Cape Coral man has been sentenced to 27 months in federal prison for threatening to assassinate President Donald Trump.According to a release from the office of United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe, Christopher Davies, 32, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Sheri P. A Cape Coral man has been sentenced to 27 months in federal prison for threatening to assassinate President Donald Trump.
According to a release from the office of United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe, Christopher Davies, 32, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Sheri P. Chappell to serve 27 months in federal prison for a threat made to assassinate Trump.
Davies pleaded guilty on Oct. 29, 2025, as part of a plea deal.
