This week on The Big Gay Radio Show, hosts Chris Gorman, Bryan Hinkson, and Esmé Russell were joined by Miguel Fuller of The Miguel & Holly Show. The group discussed his career as an outspoken gay radio host and his return to the Tampa Bay airwaves.
Miguel Fuller reflected on navigating the radio industry as an openly gay personality and the responsibility that comes with visibility. He also discussed what it means to come back to a market that played a major role in his career. The discussion also blended personal experience with current headlines. These included Marjorie Taylor Greene’s MAGA revelation, Donald Trump threatening to sue Trevor Noah over an Epstein joke, and the cancellation of Sherri Shepherd’s daytime talk show. The group also touched on NFL players’ reactions to Bad Bunny.
On The Big Gay After Show, Chris, Esmé, and Bryan shifted into pop culture. The trio discussed Cher at the Grammys, Steven Spielberg earning EGOT status, and Doechii’s second Grammy win. They talked about reactions to Melania Trump’s documentary. Bryan shared his reviews of Zootopia 2 and Send Help. He also recounted how he nearly landed a job with Turning Point USA.
The After Show also covered breaking legal and political developments. These included a judge lifting an order requiring federal agents to preserve evidence in the Alex Pretti shooting. In addition, they discussed Florida Democrats switching to independent status and what that shift could mean for future primary elections.
