The Luce, part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, is set to open on March 15, 2026, on St. Pete Beach in the Sunshine State. The property is now taking reservations and is offering 3,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night with promo code S2449 for bookings made through March 31.

“The Luce was designed to be more than just a place to stay—it’s a place to truly experience St. Pete Beach,” said GM Jeremy DaSilvain in a press statement. “From our beachside butler service and vibrant dining concepts to daily programming like yoga, social gatherings, and beach games, every detail is thoughtfully curated to feel welcoming, effortless, and distinctly local.”

The Luce Retreat

The 200-room property, including bungalow studio suites, transforms a historic St. Pete Beach hotel into a new Gulf Coast retreat. Its design is inspired by local heritage and mid-century Florida style, with retro color palettes, rattan accents and stone finishes. Guestrooms feature king or double-queen beds, Lavazza coffee machines, blackout curtains, smart TVs, and SACHAJUAN bath products. Bungalow Suites include private outdoor lounges with QR code ordering, while Lanai Rooms offer semi-private patios near the pool.

The Luce also has two dining outlets. Sundrop, its signature restaurant and bar, offers indoor and outdoor seating, with daily brunch and dinner service. The menu highlights Gulf seafood, Wagyu steak and entrees such as Chilean sea bass with blood orange beurre blanc and salmon with charred lemon. Dishes like lemon pancakes layered with mascarpone, burrata avocado toast, and a lobster roll round out the brunch lineup, complemented by pressed juices and cocktails. Weekdays feature happy hour, while clients can enjoy rum tastings on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Opening later, Baby Turtle Beach Club will offer guests a casual beachfront spot serving an American coastal menu from day to night.

The hotel boasts private beach access with umbrellas and loungers, as well as a Beach Butler Service for added comfort. They spoil their chargers: Butlers provide daily cooled treats at 2 p.m., sunglass cleaning and charging assistance. Guests may also order a Vacation Amenity Box stocked with sunscreen, mist spray and a koozie.

Additional amenities include St. Pete Beach’s largest pool, daily activities, yoga sessions, DJ “Groove Sessions,” a nightly Sunset Social, lawn games, a 24-hour fitness center and a retail boutique.

The property is located near local dining and downtown St. Petersburg, approximately 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport and 25 minutes from St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport.
