Truck pulled from Hillsborough County pond appears to match description of missing person’s vehicle, officials say

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, a body was found inside of the truck. The person has not yet been identified.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — A truck was pulled out of a pond in Hillsborough County on Tuesday, and deputies say a body was found inside. 

According to a spokesperson with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the truck matched the description of a missing person’s vehicle. 

The person has not yet been identified, and no further details were immediately provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
