COCOA, Fla. – A 3-month-old infant was found dead in Brevard County on Tuesday afternoon, sparking an investigation into what happened, according to the Cocoa Police Department.
Police told News 6 that they received a call around 4:30 p.m. from a home along Pineda Street involving the dead infant.
As a result, detectives responded and are “currently investigating the circumstances,” police added.
No additional information has been provided at this time, including the nature of the death.
