HAMILTON COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – A vehicle fully engulfed in flames on Interstate 75 Tuesday evening snagged northbound traffic near the Florida-Georgia line in Hamilton County.
As of about 5:20 p.m., law enforcement directed traffic around the smoldering vehicle as emergency crews responded to the scene.
A tow truck arrived about an hour later to clear the vehicle from the side of the roadway. As of 6:30 p.m., the road is cleared and traffic is flowing normally.
No injuries were reported, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. It is unclear what caused the fire.
