TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – After dry weather to kick off the work week, we are looking ahead to higher rain chances on Wednesday.
Tonight Through Wednesday Night
Clouds will begin to increase for Tuesday night as our next weather system approaches. Overnight lows are not as cold as recent nights. We hover in the mid-40s under a partly to mostly cloudy sky.
Scattered showers are looking likely on Wednesday under a mostly cloudy sky. Some good news, we have no severe weather issues, but pack the umbrella as you walk out the door. Because of the showers and clouds, temperatures are slightly cooler. We top out in the upper-50s to low-60s.
A few showers could linger into Wednesday night, especially in our southeastern counties. However, most of us are starting to dry out and cool down. Lows settle in the upper-30s and low-40s as a breezy wind begins to return.
Ending The Work Week
We are slightly cooler on Thursday, but temperatures are not as frigid as last weekend. Highs on Thursday hover in the low-50s under a partly cloudy sky. The wind will stay breezy. We could see some gusts up to 25 mph at times. Low temperatures are chilly. We dip into the upper-20s for Thursday night.
The forecast on Friday is looking pretty good. We are tracking dry, sunny and mild weather. Temperatures climb into the low-60s, with lows in the upper-30s.
Extended Forecast
Looking ahead to the weekend, the forecast is looking dry and mild.
Temperatures climb into the mid-and-upper-60s on Saturday and Sunday under plenty of sunshine.
Lows bottom out in the mid-and-upper-30s for the weekend.
