Cape Coral residents are reportedly in the second-safest city in Florida, according to a report conducted by WalletHub.

The survey, published on Monday, gathered data from every city in the country and compiled a list based on three different guidelines: Home and Community Safety, Natural Disaster Risk, and Financial Safety.

The cities were then graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the highest level of safety.

In Florida, Cape Coral was ranked the second safest, with Port St. Lucie ranking first.

Overall, Cape Coral ranked 55th in the country.

The top five “safest” cities in the United States were: Warwick, Rhode Island; Overland Park, Kansas; Burlington, Vermont; Juneau, Alaska; and Yonkers, New York.
