Kindness 2026: ‘It Starts with You’

This wellness, health and fitness fair will include yoga sessions, storytelling, poetry and other stage performances. And — in addition to arts and crafts — there will be vendors offering products such as clothing, pantry goods and healthy foods, as well as services promoting everything from aromatherapy to mental health awareness.

Reggae Genealogy: Lights. Camera. Reggae.

Now in its third year, this multimedia festival — a blend of live music, film, television and digital storytelling — helps to kick off Reggae Month here in SoFlo. This year there will be a tribute to the late great Jimmy Cliff. Also musicians Leroy Sibbles, Clifford “Mr. Vegas” Smith and Sly Dunbar will be honored with Island SPACE Lifetime Achievement Awards. In addition to performances by Sibbles, Tifa, Phil Watkis, Bobby Rose, Roy G, and LeeLee King, Code Red Band, DJ King Mega and Bigg G there will be a cultural village featuring Caribbean-owned small businesses offering for purchase island cuisine, handcrafted goods and branded merchandise.

Judy Levis Krug Boca Raton Jewish Film Festival

The 10th anniversary of this film festival will feature more than 40 Israeli and Jewish-themed films.

Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival

Over Valentine’s Day Weekend, the festival will kick things off with a Shakespeare by the Palms VI production of “Macbeth” in Royal Palm Beach. Bring a beach chair or blanket and a picnic basket for the outdoor event (there will also be on-site concessions).

West Palm Beach Greek Food & Wine Festival

Three days of celebrating authentic Greek cuisine and culture is what this festival — hosted by the St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church community — is all about. For the 51st annual staging, they’re trying something new: A guided Greek wine tasting experience.

Wellington Bacon & Bourbon Fest

It’s not just bacon and bourbon … though wouldn’t that truly be enough? This time around, the Wellington Bacon & Bourbon Fest has added another B-word: blackjack. The two-day outdoor event, which spotlights whiskey and pork product vendors as well as arts and crafts vendors, will now offer The Backroom, where you play blackjack in 30-minute sessions in a high-end bar and lounge (must be at least 18). Also new will be a Cigar Bar with stogies for purchase, situated in an Airstream trailer with Chesterfield sofas and leather club chairs as well as al fresco smoking at outdoor seating and domino tables.

Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival

The 40th year of the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF) will screen a lineup of over 50 films and documentaries. In addition to red carpets with the likes of Chevy Chase, Terrence Howard, Sydelle Noel, Guy Harvey, Jeremy Piven, Paul Reiser and Jamie Kennedy, there will also be parties and Q&A sessions. FLIFF events take place at various venue throughout Broward County.

Best of the Belgians Beer Fest

It’s the duo you never saw coming: Belgian beer and the Boca Ballet Theatre. Featuring Belgian brewskis (with unlimited sampling), food trucks and live music, the event benefits the civic dance company/school that has been a major force in the South Florida performing arts scene for over three decades. How did this happen? Well, ballet and Belgian suds are both passions of Dan Guin, the dance company’s executive/co-artistic director.

The wheels wonderland that is FuelFest will once again have appearances by two “Fast & Furious” film franchise stars, Tyrese Gibson and Cody Walker (cofounder of the event). The vroom-vroom event features more than 800 custom, exotic, rare and exclusive cars and trucks, as well as live-action drifting, fan ride-alongs, custom exhibits, interactive fan racing activities and attractions, auctions and live concerts. You can also, of course, see cars that appeared in “Fast & Furious” movies. New this time around will be Taste of Tokyo, a Japanese car showcase with the vibe of an underground car meet. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit Reach Out WorldWide, the nonprofit founded by the late Paul Walker and continued by his brother, Cody Walker.
