Jacksonville, AL – A man, 51-year-old Patrick Slade Boothe, was reported missing on January 23, 2026, was located and it has been reported by the Jacksonville Police that he is deceased. Per JPD’s press release the parties involved have been taken into custody. Due to this being an active and ongoing investigation no further information has been released.

The press release also stated, “At this time we ask for prayers and privacy for the family of Mr. Boothe. Law enforcement has already been in contact with the family. All questions and media contact should be directed to the office of Chief Wood at the Jacksonville Police Department.
