Florida State had a jam-packed month of visitors in January as they held three Junior Day events. The last was on Jan. 31, and 2027 safety Demond Scott was on campus.
The 6-foot-2, 165-pounder received an offer from FSU last February, and he took an unofficial visit back in November when they played the Virginia Tech Hokies. Scott now has the Seminoles extremely high on his last after his latest visit.
“It was amazing. The love and support around Florida state is crazy, and it’s a great place to be. Florida State is definitely a top school that I’m looking at for sure,” Scott told Rivals.
Scott had a solid junior year at Rockledge High School. He produced 26 tackles (18 solo), two interceptions, five pass breakups, and one fumble recovery. At the moment, Scott isn’t a ranked prospect.
FSU is also making waves with another in-state safety from the 2027 class, as three-star recruit Damari Jerry named them his top school.
