A vehicle fire was reported early Thursday at the Fine Arts Garage, Building 44, according to a campus-wide alert from the University of North Florida.
The alert advised all personnel to stay clear of the garage until an all-clear message was issued.
“One vehicle caught on fire while on the on-ramp into the Fine Arts Center Garage, Garage 44, this morning. There were no injuries. JFRD reported to the scene and extinguished the fire. The vehicle is currently being removed and clean up is underway. We will send an alert soon once the garage is reopened,” said the university spokesperson.
