LITTLE ROCK, AR (KATV) — The Jacksonville North Pulaski School District is rolling out the red carpet for literacy lovers with its annual literacy night.
Superintendent Dr. Jeremy S. Owoh, and international author Phyllis Hodges are teaming up to make this event a memorable one.
“Literacy is so important to us,” said Dr. Owa. The event, open to the public, promises a fun-filled evening with local authors, prizes, and a guest reading segment.
Hodges, excited to participate, said, “I’ve been there before as a vendor, sharing the books, but now have an opportunity to read to the children.”
The event will take place on Tuesday, February 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Jacksonville Community Center.
