The Dallas Mavericks have made another move ahead of Wednesday’s NBA trade deadline.
A person familiar with the decision confirmed to The Dallas Morning News that the Mavs have traded recently acquired Malaki Branham to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for Tyus Jones.
Branham was part of the package Dallas landed Tuesday in the massive trade involving Anthony Davis.
Jones, also traded Tuesday from Orlando to Charlotte, is a former first-round draft pick out of Duke. The veteran guard has played for six teams over his 11 seasons in the NBA.

With Orlando this season, Jones has primarily come off the bench. He is averaging 3.0 points, 2.4 assists and 1.0 rebounds per game.
The Hornets reportedly acquired Jones and a pair of second-round picks from the Magic for cash considerations.
