GAINESVILLE, Fla. –  The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) is proud to announce the inaugural Florida Leadership & Athletic Sports Honors Yearly (FLASHYS) Awards, presented by the Florida Lottery. The statewide celebration of excellence in high school athletics will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Tracy Performing Arts Center in The Villages, from 5:00–7:30 p.m.

Designed as Florida’s premier high school sports awards show, the FLASHYS will honor the individuals and programs whose leadership, integrity, and service elevate education-based athletics across the state. The evening will begin with Red Carpet arrivals and appetizers from 5:00–6:00 p.m., followed by the Awards Program from 6:00–7:30 p.m.

“Florida is home to some of the most talented student-athletes, educators, officials, and leaders in the country, and the FLASHYS give us a powerful opportunity to shine a statewide spotlight on the people who make education-based athletics so special,” said Craig Damon, Executive Director of the FHSAA. “We are incredibly grateful for the support of the Florida Lottery, whose commitment to education and opportunity makes this celebration possible. Their partnership allows us to honor excellence both on and off the field and recognize the impact high school athletics has across Florida.”

The FLASHYS will recognize outstanding achievements across a wide range of roles that make high school sports thrive. Awards to be presented include:

Male & Female Athletic Trainer of the Year Awards presented by Perry Weather
