The much-anticipated ribbon-cutting for Crowne Development’s $100 million Bimini Square project was held Thursday.
The mixed-use development in the South Cape features luxury apartment living coupled with restaurants, a Lee Health medical facility and marina with boat slips, making this a welcome addition to the continuing revitalization of the city’s original downtown.
Dignitaries, including city and county officials and project partners, were invited to take part in the ceremony and tour the community campus anchored by a five-story, 218-unit upscale boutique apartment complex offers ample amenities including a rooftop infinity pool and dog park alongside health care services, waterfront dining and a marina.
The community, along the Caloosahatchee waterfront at 440 Cape Coral Parkway E, offers studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units featuring private balconies with water, sunset or courtyard views.
Lee Health recently opened its outpatient clinic and offices at Bimini Square in fall 2025 and is seeing patients.
A waterfront restaurant, Bimini Basin Seafood & Cocktails, is in the final stages of construction. A House of Omelets is under development.
