Oasis Charter Students from the robotics club visited Cape Coral Hospital to learn about the robotics program utilized by surgeons in Lee County.

Serving patients at both Cape Coral Hospital and HealthPark Hospital, the 33 robots currently utilized by Lee Health bring cutting edge advantages to the local community.

Using AI and other technologies, these robotic tools offer extreme precision and better surgical outcomes for minor to complex every day surgeries and procedures, medial professionals said.

In 2025, nearly 7,000 various procedures were completed with the use of this technology.

Students got a first-hand look at multiple robots – namely the da Vinci, Ion, and Edison models – used in various surgical settings in Cape Coral Hospital and Healthpark Hospital.
