Good evening, Central Florida. We’re wrapping up the day for you with the most important stories you need to know and your weather outlook.

Your Weather Planner

Mostly clear skies are expected this evening as temperatures fall mainly to the mid and upper 40s. With wind remaining between 5 mph and 15 mph, feel like temperatures in the 30s for Saturday morning are expected — however freeze warnings or watches are not expected through the area.

Mostly sunny skies will remain in place throughout the entirety of the weekend as temperatures rise into something a bit more comfortable than what we have been dealing with over the past several days. Upper 60s and lower 70s for both Saturday and Sunday will be common, but dry conditions and occasional gusts at 20 mph or more are possible in the afternoon — especially for Saturday which may lead to another red flag warning or a fire weather, warning to Central Florida.

Any kind of planned burning should be discussed with the local fire department first due to the exceptionally dry conditions across the area. If you do see smoke, call the proper authorities and report it as this may lead to a major brushfire or wildfire.

Rain chances continue to lack clear through next week with only a steady climb in temperature. By next Tuesday, above average afternoon, high temperatures in the upper 70s will be common and even lower 80s are possible by mid next week.
