The man accused of killing a former Orlando police officer has been indicted for murder according to court documents.An indictment filed on Tuesday shows that an Orange County grand jury indicted Jeffrey London on first-degree murder with a firearm in the death of Dennis Turner.Turner was fatally shot outside of a home on Kozart Street in Orlando on January 1st. He served with the Orlando Police Department for 23 years before he retired.According to court documents, a witness said London came to the home, spoke with Turner, and shot him in the back as he walked away.Another victim reported watching London stand over Turner and shoot him several more times. Investigators say London fled the scene after the shooting and was later captured in Highlands County.London remains in the Orange County Jail on no bond. He is expected to be arraigned on Monday.
