The late Zaha Hadid’s two residential designs in the US secured major sales this week, including David Beckham’s Miami penthouse.
A company led by the soccer superstar sold Beckham’s condo for $24.6 million, South Florida Business Journal reported. The property, One Thousand Museum, is one of just two US residential towers that Hadid, who died 10 years ago, ever designed.
The second edifice, Manhattan’s 520 W. 28th St., just snagged a $3.6 million sale, The Post has learned. The luxurious condominium along the High Line was among Hadid’s final projects — and lured the likes of previous residents including Ariana Grande.

Hadid died of a heart attack at age 65 in March 2016, more than a year before the Manhattan construction was completed. She was the first woman to win the prestigious Pritzker Architecture Prize, and was known world-over for her striking, futuristic designs, often defined by bold lines and fluid curves.
Beckham Brand Limited, a London-based company led by Beckham, purchased his 9,200-square-foot Miami penthouse for $19.8 million in 2020, according property records. The brand new residence offered five bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms and a large balcony on the 59th floor.
The recent sale earned the Inter Miami CF co-owner a $4.8 million profit on his investment.

The 62-story residential tower along Biscayne Boulevard was initially designed by Hadid and completed in 2019, three years after her death.
Despite the family’s high-publicized feud with US-based son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz, it’s unlikely that David and Victoria Beckham are cutting ties with their lives stateside. The pair still own a $72.25 million mansion in Miami Beach.
Farther north, in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood, a 1,691-square-foot condo designed by Hadid found a buyer after three years of attempted listings.
The two-bedroom unit at 520 West 28th most recently asked $3.7 million in March 2025, repped by Compass’ Michael Rubin and Todd Lewin.

The seller, Rabia Kamani, appears to be the sister of Mahmud Abdullah Kamani, who heads the UK-based fast fashion titan BooHoo Group. The unknown buyer was represented by Jessica Levine of Douglas Elliman, who declined to comment on the deal.
The unit’s modernist interiors feature 50 feet of floor-to-ceiling motorized and sculptural windows overlooking 28th Street. Other amenities in the exclusive, 40-unit building include a private IMAX theater, a terrace on the High Line and a 75-foot swimming pool.
The luxurious condominium along the High Line was among Hadid’s final projects. Sales initially struggled in its early years, reportedly stalling out in 2019 at less than 50% of capacity. Today just two units remain on the market, including a $3.75 million two-bedroom and an $8 million three-bedroom.
