Tampa nail salon targeted in armed robbery

Tampa police are investigating after a nail salon was robbed Saturday morning.

Just before 8 a.m., police say two armed suspects entered LV Nails & Spa and assaulted a male employee before taking cash and fleeing.

The suspects are described as white males who wore brown hoodies, jeans and Covid-style masks. One was approximately 5’5.

Police said they left the salon, located at 2513 W. Hillsborough Ave., and were last seen heading eastbound.

The employee sustained minor injuries and was treated on scene.

Detectives are currently on scene working to gather evidence.
