FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Super Bowl isn’t just about football; it’s also a major event for local businesses in Fort Myers.
Fans gathered early at the G-Spot Gastropub in downtown Fort Myers, where the parking lot transformed into a lively pregame party.
Music, food, and games filled the outdoor space, drawing football enthusiasts hours before kickoff. The bar hosted a live DJ, fired up an outdoor grill and bar, and set up games to entertain the crowd.
“We’re one of the only places downtown that has a parking lot. So we took advantage of that,” said Jeremy Christenson, the event planner.
“It brings in a big influx of people, locals, tourists. Everybody that wants to come in wants a good sports bar with great food, good drinks, awesome service to come experience the game in a very awesome environment,” said Christenson.
Event organizers aimed to create a community atmosphere, offering a place for people to hang out, eat, drink, and build excitement before the Super Bowl. The pregame party ran all afternoon, with the celebration continuing inside for the big game’s kickoff.
