ORLANDO, Fla. — Super Bowl LX was played in California, but Super Bowl Sunday is one of the most anticipated days of the year, and Orlandoans took part in their own way.
Wall Street Plaza in downtown Orlando hosted a watch party, bringing fans together for football, food and fun.
People showed up for different reasons — some to cheer on their favorite team, others just to enjoy the atmosphere with friends.
And while the game was the main event, many attendees said they were just as excited to root for “Team Benito,” celebrating Bad Bunny and the halftime buzz.
But above all, attendees said the day is really about community and togetherness.
“It’s everybody who’s getting down here together,” said William Kish, a first-time attendee. “I know they’ve put some stuff in the past about downtown Orlando being a sketchy place to be, but this just goes to show that we get the community together to go have a good time together and not worry about any of the bad stuff that’s happening in today’s society.”
