Here are the area’s top high school sports performers for Feb. 6-7. Top performers are based on the results sent in by the coaches. 

Saturday, Feb. 7

BOYS BASKETBALL

Evan Carlson, Croatan: The senior had 10 points, seven rebounds and one block in a 59-48 win over Northside.

Kannon McBride, Croatan: The junior had 27 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks.

Tyler Thorpe, Croatan: The senior had nine points, four assists, three steals and two rebounds.

Rubin Laurent, Northside: The junior scored 11 points in a 59-48 loss to Croatan.

Matthew Smoot, Northside: The junior scored 18 points. 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Hannan Buchan, Croatan: The senior had eight points, three steals and two rebounds in a 56-29 victory over Northside.

Leah Johnson, Croatan: The sophomore had 14 points, five rebounds, three blocks, two assists and one steal.

Neely McMannen, Croatan: The senior had 13 points, five assists, two rebounds and two steals.

Lilly Miller, Croatan: The sophomore had eight points, 13 rebounds, two assists and one steal.

Payton Battle, Swansboro: The senior had 12 points, six rebounds and three steals in a 39-27 victory over Havelock.

Addison King, Swansboro: The junior had 19 points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals. 

Friday, Feb. 6

BOYS BASKETBALL

Jaiden Cooper, Living Water Christian: The senior had 34 points, 10 rebounds, two steals and one block in an 87-55 loss to Wilmington Christian.
