The Jacksonville Police Department will host its first Coffee with a Cop event of the year on Wednesday, Feb. 11.
The event is scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. at Dunkin’, located at 433 Western Blvd. in Jacksonville.
According to the police department, the event is designed to give community members an opportunity to meet local officers, ask questions and discuss public safety issues in an informal setting. Coffee with a Cop events are intended to encourage conversation and strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the community.
Residents are invited to stop by during the event to speak with officers and enjoy coffee.
