February 9, 2026 – The Sixth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission will interview 11 applicants Feb. 27 to fill out a circuit court vacancy, following the retirement and resignation of Judge Jack Helinger, and a Pinellas County court vacancy due to the elevation of Judge Aaron Hubbard. The interviews will take place at the St. Petersburg College campus in Clearwater.
