TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Here’s what’s brewing in Tallahassee!
The John G. Riley Center Museum is introducing a new exhibit this week, called “African Americans in Tallahassee: The World Wars and Post-War Life.”
It tells the story of men and women who fought in our military, then returned to lay the groundwork for the civil rights movement. Attendees can expect to see historical photos, videos and artifacts.
Admission is free.
For those interested, the exhibit premieres Thursday and will run through the rest of the year. The museum is open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
