The suspect, Dimond Crawford, is accused of shooting at four people from inside his unit at the Victoria at Orange Park Apartments. Two were injured.
ORANGE PARK, Fla. — A man is facing four counts of attempted murder after a Sunday morning shooting at an Orange Park apartment complex, according to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were reportedly called out to the Victoria at Orange Park Apartments on Wells Road at approximately 1 a.m. Sunday after receiving reports of gunshots in the area.Â
The sheriff’s office determined that four people were standing outside of an apartment building when the suspect, 18-year-old Dimond Crawford, began “firing recklessly” at them from inside his apartment. Crawford allegedly kept shooting at them as they tried to escape the area.
Two of the people were uninjured, while the other two were shot and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“All parties involved are known to each other and reportedly have been involved in prior disputes,” the sheriff’s office said in the arrest announcement.
Crawford was booked into the Clay County jail on a $750,000 bond.Â
