South Florida travelers wanting to get more miles in the sky will have more nonstop flight options out of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport this month.
February marks the rollout of several new Allegiant Air service routes through FLL, adding nonstop service to destinations in New Jersey, New York and Illinois.
Service to Chicago Rockford International Airport begins on Thursday, Feb. 12, with one-way fares starting at $69.
On the same day, Allegiant will launch nonstop flights to Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport in New York, with one-way fares also starting at $69.
Routes to Albany International Airport in New York begin on Friday, Feb. 13, with one-way fares starting at $69.
The airline’s first nonstop route from FLL to Trenton, New Jersey, is scheduled to start on Thursday, Feb. 19, with one-way fares starting at $49.
“We’re thrilled to continue Allegiant’s growth by adding these new routes,” Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer, said in a news release. “Our mission has always been to connect travelers to world-class destinations at an affordable price.”
