There are lots of exciting events taking place on the ice on Tuesday!
Watch NBC6 free wherever you are
The first I’ll mention: the men’s figure skating short program kicks off at 12:30 p.m. ET, and our very own Andrew Torgashev will showcase his talents and hopefully qualify to move on to the free skate. Here’s how to make sure you don’t miss him! As Andrew makes his Olympic debut, I sit down with his father to talk about this achievement.
Next, the U.S. women’s hockey team goes head-to-head with Team Canada today in their next preliminary game. And while Lindsey Vonn continues to recover after her devastating crash on Sunday, the women’s alpine skiing team looks to make the podium.
Also, if you’ve been on social media, you may have seen a few awkward moments regarding the Olympic medals—are they really falling apart?! (In a positive response, the Milan Cortina Olympics Committee said it is already working on a solution.)
Make sure you stay tuned for these stories and more, right here on NBC6. Ciao!
