The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is asking for community support in locating the owner of two goats who were ‘impounded’ on Tuesday.
JSO says that the goats, nicknamed by officers as Baby Billy and Scape Goat, were found on Lawrence Place near University Boulevard.
The sheriff’s office asks the owner of the pair to contact Sgt. Ben Rhoden at 904-630-8653 and provide the CCR # 26-78952, as well as be ready to pay an impound fee of $100.
JSO says that if they are not claimed by Friday, February 13, the goats will be placed up for adoption.
