It doesn’t get more magical than this! Taking place on weekends at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, all year long, The Magic Show is one of those iconic Orlando experiences that you might not believe even after witnessing it. The intimate performance puts you just inches from the action, where mind‑bending illusions will have you questioning everything you’re seeing.

Discover: Places to Stay

Hosted by America’s Got Talent finalist Drew Thomas with an amazing assist from his wife, Rebecca, and a soundtrack provided by their sons Sam on lead guitar and Milo on piano, plus singer Kayla Adams on lead vocals, the show blends world‑class magic with quick humor and heartfelt storytelling. Thomas, who was previously a show director with Walt Disney World® Resort and the official magic consultant for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ — Ministry of Magic™ at Universal Epic Universe, says it’s geared toward “everyone who’s looking for something unexpected and super fun.”

The setting is elegant, relaxed and up close — the front row is practically within arm’s reach of Thomas’ grand illusions — creating the vibe of a private magic salon. It’s polished enough for date night but also ideal for families and large groups. Audience participation keeps every performance fresh, too, ensuring that no two nights are exactly alike.

Members of Visit Orlando’s social media team, one of whom is a self-described magic enthusiast, experienced the show for themselves in 2025. They said it felt exciting and sophisticated while still being fully family friendly. Our team was also impressed by the illusions, some of which left their jaws on the floor.

Whether you’re staying at Grande Lakes or just want a memorable night out, The Magic Show and Drew Thomas deliver worlds of wonder. Our advice? Grab a drink at the hotel bar (or dinner before or after at any of Grande Lakes’ stellar dining options), settle into the intimate setting, and get ready for an evening that feels both luxurious and delightfully down to earth. This is more than a magic show — it’s an unforgettable hidden gem.

The rotating lineup of magicians means no two shows are ever the same. One moment you’re watching jaw‑dropping sleight of hand, and the next you’re helping make the magic happen. In fact, I got invited up on stage when I experienced the show for myself, as did several other guests, so be prepared for your own curtain call when you go!

It all adds up to a show that’s playful, unpredictable and perfect for families, couples and groups. It takes place nightly at WonderWorks, the iconic upside‑down house at Pointe Orlando on International Drive (aka I-Drive) — making it easy to turn the whole evening into an adventure.
