ORLANDO, Fla. – “Quit yo’ jibber-jabber” and listen up, fool!
MEGACON just announced the newest celebrity to join the guest lineup at its Orlando convention in March.
First name: Mister. Middle name: period. Last name: T.
Born Laurence Tureaud, the youngest son of 12 children, Mr. T was a bodyguard to the stars and won two tough-man competitions before he became an actor, made a splash in “Rocky III” as Clubber Lang in 1982, then landed the role of Sgt. B.A. Baracus on “The A-Team” in 1983. He also became a pro-wrestler with the WWF.

Mr. T became an 80s cultural icon, with his own Hanna Barbera cartoon and a signature catchphrase, “I pity the fool!” He appeared on cereal boxes and cameos, and even as Santa Claus at The White House (First Lady Nancy Reagan sat on his lap).
Mr. T still appears in movies, TV shows and wrestling specials and is always a crowd favorite.
Mr. T will be meeting fans on all four days of MEGACON, March 19-22, at the Orange County Convention Center.

The four-day convention is one of the largest celebrations of pop culture in the Southeastern United States.
Dozens of celebrities are expected to be on hand for photos and autographs.
Convention organizers say Mr. T is bringing his gold chains for his photo-ops.
