Tallahassee nonprofit receives $200K grant from Chick-fil-A

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee nonprofit was recently gifted $200,000 from Chick-fil-A through its True Inspiration Awards program.

Capital City Youth Services, Inc, provides “emergency shelter, crisis intervention, and mental health support to runaway, homeless and at-risk youth in Tallahassee,” according to a press release.

The grant will be used to help youth in shelters while providing emergency street outreach, meals and beds.

Capital City Youth Services is one of 56 nonprofits across the nation to receive a grant from the True Inspiration Rewards program.
