GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – Former Quincy City Manager and Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Director Rob Nixon was arrested Tuesday morning after authorities served a search warrant at his home in Quincy.
According to Chief Assistant State Attorney James Beville, the former city manager faces 16 felony charges, including grand theft, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and official misconduct.

Nixon allegedly used his position as city manager and CRA director to funnel more than $30,000 into his business, Monterrey’s Cigar Social, according to Beville.
The alleged misconduct happened between May 2022 and April 2023, per Beville.

Nixon is being booked at the Gadsden County Jail and his first court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday, according to the chief assistant state attorney.
