Bank of the Islands was a sponsor for the sixth annual Sanibel Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePack on Feb. 6-7 at the Sanibel Community Church on Sanibel. The bank also had a volunteer team taking part. Event organizers committed to raising $100,000 and gathering 750 volunteers to pack and produce 225,000 meals. FMSC is a Christian nonprofit hunger relief organization dedicated to providing nutritious meals to children worldwide. Its meals are hand-packed by volunteers and sent to a network of partner organizations, which distribute them to those in need.
