Daimler Coaches North America’s new 43,000-square-foot headquarters on the Westside will serve as a hub for luxury motorcoaches and bring new jobs to the city.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A new national business is investing in Jacksonville.

Daimler Coaches North America opened the doors of its brand-new U.S. headquarters on Jacksonville’s Westside Tuesday. The company provides luxury motorcoaches and is the exclusive dealer of the Mercedes-Benz Tourrider.

At more than 43,000 square-feet, the new facility on Jones Branch Road will house corporate offices, a shop and maintenance center, and a dedicated training and delivery center for customers and service providers. In addition to new motorcoaches, pre-owned options will also be up for sale.


“We are grateful to Daimler Coaches North America for choosing Jacksonville to be your U.S. headquarters, and for making a long-term capital investment of more than 100 million dollars here,” said Mayor Donna Deegan in a social media post after the grand opening event. 

ARCO Design/Build is listed as the facility’s builder and Brookwood Capital Partners as the investment firm for the expansion.

Mayor Deegan said she expects the facility to “create many new local jobs for skilled workers, strengthen our region’s industrial and transportation ecosystem, and make significant contributions to the long-term economic growth of our region.”
